Fitness Coordinator- Part Time

The Fitness Coordinator provides exercise, fitness assessment, prescription and training to Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Enhancement and Skilled Nursing members

Steward- Full Time

The Steward is at the forefront of ensuring that the kitchen is sanitized, maintained and stocked throughout the day; that the Team Members’ lunchroom is fully equipped, stocked and maintained; and that other services are provided to assist in the preparation of food, banquets and special events that meets and exceeds expectations.

Member Services Representative- Full Time

The Member Services Representative is at the forefront of greeting customers personally and by phone and guiding them to their destination.  The Member Services Representative ensures customers are provided with a safe and secure environment and that their various needs and expectations are met and exceeded.

CNA- Full Time

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing direction and assistance with the activities of daily living and personal care necessary for each resident to remain as independent as possible.

Director of Housekeeping

The Director of Housekeeping is responsible for the care and cleaning of all aspects of the physical plant as well as the quality of the laundry.  The Director of Housekeeping works with a wide variety of individuals in the internal and external community, while managing and training a staff that meets The Garlands standards of customer service and builds trusted and valued relationships with customers.

Nutritional Aide (Dietary Aide)- Full Time

The Nutritional Aid is responsible for providing the highest level of dining and beverage service to customers of The Garlands, while building trusted and valued relationships with the customers and providing additional services that meet and exceed their expectations. Must be able to work 7:00AM-3:30PM; 11:30AM-8:00PM and weekends and holidays.

Floor Technician- Full Time

The Floor Tech/Houseperson maintains The Garlands’ public areas through various cleaning projects including floor care, exterior cleanings and special projects while meeting or exceeding the expectations of customers. Floor Technician should be available full time.

Housekeeper

The Housekeeper, Residential is responsible for providing a clean and pleasant environment for Members in their homes that meet and exceed their expectations, while building trusted and valued relationships with the Members. On call. Preferred to work 7:45AM-4:15PM.

CNA- 24 Hour Live In

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing direction and assistance with the activities of daily living and personal care necessary for each resident to remain as independent as possible. The Certified Nursing Assistant works three 24 hour days.

CNA- Part Time

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing direction and assistance with the activities of daily living and personal care necessary for each resident to remain as independent as possible. Must be available for 2nd and 3rd shift.

Steward- Part Time

The Steward is at the forefront of ensuring that the kitchen is sanitized, maintained and stocked throughout the day; that the Team Members’ lunchroom is fully equipped, stocked and maintained; and that other services are provided to assist in the preparation of food, banquets and special events that meets and exceeds expectations.

Dining Room Manager- Full Time

The Dining Room Manager is responsible for providing the highest level of service to customers of The Garlands in all dining and lounge facilities that meets and exceeds their expectations. The Dining Room Manager works with a wide variety of individuals in the internal and external community, while managing and training a staff that meets The Garlands standards of customer service and builds trusted and valued relationships with customers.

Activity Assistant- Part Time

The Activity Assistant assists in planning, organizing and implementing activity programs for Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Members. Additionally, The Activity Assistant provides assistance in members food service programs, ambulation and transferring/transporting of Members and documentation.

HVAC - Full Time

  • Five years experience with residential and commercial HVAC equipment
    • Comply with Garlands’ grooming and uniform standards at all times
    • Record time spent and completion date and time on all completed workers
    • Notify Maintenance Director of any parts and supply inventories that fall below minimum par levels
    • Maintain all supply areas in a clean and organized fashion at all times
    • Assist in snow removal procedures as necessary
    • Perform other duties as directed by Maintenance Director.
    • Look up parts needed for repairs
    • Test electrical circuits and other components using electrical test equipment, multimeter, pressure gauges, manometers and various other testing devices
    • HVAC certified for universal or similar certification for Freon use
    • Able to work in hot, cold, noisey and small spaces
    • Troubleshoot and repair various appliance electrical and plumbing issues
    • Ability to read schematics and blue prints
    • Replace blower motors, condenser motors, pump motors, bearing assemblies,
    • Ability to soldering and braze copper
    • Computer skills
 
  • Preventative Maintenance
    • Clean the condenser coils per preventative maintenance program for all roof top equipment
    • Change filters on roof top HVAC equipment and the residential and villa HVAC systems per the preventative maintenance program
    • Change humidifier pads for apartments and Villas
    • Perform maintenance for various exhaust fans throughout the building inside and on the roof, grease, check belts, change belts, change sheaves, change bearings and check electric connections
    • Daily monitoring of the building automation system for HVAC units, VAV, fan power boxes, pumps, snowmelt system and boilers.  Troubleshoot, investigate and solve HVAC issues on a daily basis.
