Now more than ever we need a little inspiration!
In addition to reminding you to wash your hands, drink plenty of water and maintain a healthy diet with a variety of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins and healthy fats, please consider some of these tips for living well:
Work in some easy and enjoyable movement into your day. Try simple wall pushups, squats, yoga stretches or tai chi at home. Or, simply stand up and sit down from a chair during TV commercials or before or after meals — it is a great way to keep legs strong!
- Bundle up and walk outside for some fresh air to stay strong and healthy.
- Rest. Make sure to get a good night’s sleep! Go to bed on time and aim for 7-9 hours of rest.
- Of course, keep your distance from people — especially those who are not feeling well!
- And finally, sing or hum a happy song and feel appreciation for the blessings in your life. That boosts immunity too!
