Barrington Cultural Arts Center (BCAC) and the Barrington Area Council On Aging (BACOA) celebrate Barrington area’s vibrant older adults. Recruited by these organizations, ten local seniors (one is Garlands member Marlene Peterson!) shared their life stories and posed for individual portraits created by BCAC artists. This exhibit has been a year in the making and features over 40 portraits by 18 local artists, with accompanying biographies for each senior. Sip on punch and Champagne punch with neighbors at the opening reception.
